It's tough being a popular loner. You have a limited social battery and a phone blowing up with texts saying, 'Yo, that was fun, when are we hanging out next?' My brother in Christ, I'm still recovering from our 30-minute run-in at the grocery store, I'll need at least 3-5 business weeks to recover my social battery.

A lot of folks think that being likable and being an introvert are mutually exclusive–you can't have one without the other–but that's simply incorrect. Introverts are actually very likable, very funny, and very cool to be around; the trick is nailing us down to actually show up to plans we've made. Perhaps it's our aloof unavailability that makes popular loners so cool, but inside, we're dreaming of a night in with a delivery pizza, our favorite movie, and a cuddle session with our dog.

The desires of a popular introvert are quite simple… Everyone wants to hang out with us, including ourselves.
