Plan your wedding just two weeks ahead of time? What could go wrong? Well, just about everything, as this couple learned.
It's understandable why a couple would want to avoid the pressures of planning a wedding. It can take years to put together a guest list, snag a venue, hire a catering company and a DJ… the list goes on and on. That's why it's fairly common for people to get engaged as a sign of their commitment to each other, and then take a few months or years to plan out their special day.
I get what this couple was going for. They got engaged and thought that if they just threw a fast and casual wedding that things would be easy. Just tell your parents and in-laws to show up---how hard could it be? Well, as u/the_lonely_mermaid shared to the r/weddingshaming subreddit, there are endless ways a wedding can go wrong. This couple had to find that out the hard way. Who knows, maybe in five years or so they'll plan a vow renewal and hope that things go more smoothly the second time around.
Next up, this fast-food employee was stunned that a customer was getting upset over a single penny.
