Dogs are angels. That's a fact. That's something that everyone knows. Even dog haters know it, whether or not they will admit it. And we're talking about the little things. Dogs are pawfect because they bring joy into our lives. They bring us unconditional love and peace and everything that we need even if we didn't know we needed it. The little things that every dog does are already something to cherish. And then they go out and do something like this.

Now, this is not the first time that we have heard of a dog saving someone. We've read stories about dogs saving babies, and stories about dogs saving their owners from rattlesnakes, and stories about dogs saving people stranded in mountains, and all we can think is… sigh, you had to go and make yourselves even more pawfect. Unnecessary. We're already in love with dogs. But we're thankful nonetheless.

To think that all this doggo needed to do was… dig a hole. That's how you know that his owners loved him to to no end. Because they noticed something so small, something that many dogs do naturally, and knew that this tiny thing was a huge and significant change in behavior that has to be looked into further.
