The story that follows is an account of a frustrated son. There has always been tension between the Original Poster (OP) and his parents. But as OP grew older and more mature, the relationship grew increasingly strained and the rift only deepened. That's why OP felt something strange was about to happen when his parents finally got in touch with him after a long absence. As anticipated, at their meeting, OP's parents asked that he provide financial support to his brother, who is financially reckless and has depleted all of his funds.
