Happy Saturday, dog pawrents and canine comedy connoisseurs. It doesn't happen a lot, but sometimes we come home to a wonderfully destructive arts and crafts project that our doggos made for us while we were away. We can usually tell before we see it because our pooch always gives us the most precious guilty face right when we walk in. We try not to scold them because they don't know any better, but sometimes we find ourselves saying the most ridiculous sentences in our frustration. 

Since this is something that every dog owner can relate to, we found a ridiculous Reddit thread of doggo owners revealing their silliest sayings while scolding their pooches, and they are about to take you for a wild ride! From "you're adopted" to "I would turn you into Ugg boots if you weren't so cute", we can't help but laugh at these comical conversations between an owner and their doggo because we know we've all had them.     We cannot stop laughing at this picture. That face is the perfect combination of "I'm sorry", "please don't be mad at me", and "if you hadn't caught me I would do it again". This corgi is pawsitively bursting with personality!

    I'd like to hear the phrases you use to scold your dog for minor crimes and see photos of the crime if possible. The ones I find myself repeating are: stay out of the garbage, get out of the kitchen (when I'm cooking or puttering around), Shh, whisper (Barking for a reason only she can see)phooey (which indicates to leave whatever it is alone immediately) and leave the cat alone or some variant like Let him in or don't herd Steven.     Our doggos get away with a lot because they are cute. We were adamant about no dogs on the bed. Then one day, she came up and put her head at the edge of our bed and looked at us with those puppy dog eyes…long story short, now she's allowed on the bed.

    InfamousEye9238 2 days ago • honestly, my dog has always been pretty well behaved. the only "bad" thing she does is torment (herd) my kittens, but that's literally her breed role so i can only get so upset i just put her on "the leash of shame" while they're out with her (only after she tackles them) and she seems to think it disables her lol. she also barks at what i hope to be nothing pretty often, but tbh i think it's funny more than anything.

Or if he is being super rough with a toy I remind him "please be gentle with bear" (or whatever toy he is playing with).

If she's making arts & crafts while I'm not looking that's usually on me for leaving things where she can get them. She is really good about dropping things/not picking them up when I tell her to, so I spare her the guilt trip because I don't think it makes a difference.
