I've always found it amusing how Reddit kind of has a reputation as the 'sensible' website. Admittedly, it is a stretch to make such a claim about any form of social media, but it feels like some consider the front page of the internet as more grounded than the rest.
While it does have a slight edge when it comes to advising on niche topics, I would argue that it can be just as wonderfully (or annoyingly) silly as any other place where millions of people congregate online. You don't have to dig very far to find endless amounts of amusing content on there, and it doesn't just come in the form of story posts.
The people of Reddit know how to captivate with thoughts that range from hilarious to just plain bizarre. If you don't believe me, simply take a look at the examples below. They certainly display variety.
