Women Over 35 Share Their Insights on Embracing Child-Free Lives

The decision to have children or not has dramatically evolved in our society. In the past, it was the norm to have large families and to start having children in your early 20s. As time passed, couples started waiting longer to have children, choosing a time in their lives when they are more stable, both mentally and financially. Nowadays, we also see more and more women opting not to have children at all, and more power to them. You don't have to abide by societal norms if they don't align with your beliefs. Maybe you're focusing on your career, waiting for the right partner, or simply cherishing your independence. Whatever your reason may be, the decision to have children is entirely yours.

If you're uncertain about which path to take, take inspiration from these women who have chosen not to have children. Most of them value their freedom above all. Some women in the comments shared that they sometimes experience regret about not having children, but they still value their lifestyle above all. In short, live your life the way you want to live it. If you want children in your early 20s, that's fine. If you prefer to wait until you're 35, that's also fine. If you choose to remain childless, that's your choice too, and it's just as valid. However, our society can sometimes look down on couples or individuals who choose not to have children, and hearing from other child-free women who stand by their decision can be extremely reassuring.
