Well, if you are still buying avocado toast at brunch then you must be in a very high tax bracket. At least, that's what us millennials were told. You either choose avocado toast or a house. If you chose avocado toast, you're either a millionaire who can afford such luxuries, or you're homeless. So how are all you avocado-eating houseless folk doing out there? Hmmm? Aaaaanyways, back to reality. What a weird time that was, right? When boomers on the news were saying with complete sincerity that it was avocado toast and fancy coffee drinks that were keeping millennials poor? It definitely is not the corporate-created inflation of every market and the wages being unlivable. Nope. It was 100% the brunch outings… God, now I really want some avocado toast and a caramel frappuccino. Can anybody spare a dollar or two for a poor millennial with a problem spending all her good-earned cash on tiny moments that create a little bit of serotonin in this cold cold world? No? I can offer you memes!
Speaking of memes, here are some for Gen X—don't worry, we didn't forget about you!
