'Y'all thought my $1400 Tahoe payment was bad': Nonsensical woman baffles internet with combined $3000 monthly car payments

One of many things that has up to this point made me a committed non-driver is that acquiring and maintaining a vehicle can be incredibly expensive. Everyone knows that a car loses up to 10% of its value as soon as it's driven off the lot, and yet many people find themselves paying it off for years to come knowing that they'll never see any of that money again.

While this reason leads some drivers to try and be economical with their purchases, there are also many more whose approach to financing vehicles is nothing short of unhinged. This was the case for one TikToker who got roasted on Twitter for admitting that she was paying a combined $3000 a month for her car and her husband's truck (the latter was purchased back in 2022). If she wasn't talking about allowing one of the vehicles to be repossessed, we might say this was a perfect example of more money than sense.
