We can do just about anything on a phone these days. To add to the list of niche things that are beginning to age me, I remember when the idea of being able to open a PDF on a cell phone was almost unthinkable. Yet look at us now! The passage of time is relentless.

At the risk of sounding too much like a boomer, something that is also wild about being alive today is the fact that there is an app for just about everything these days. One of those things is travel; in theory, you could probably book a trip around the world using nothing but mobile technology.

This subject has been up for debate on Twitter recently, with one woman stirring up some unexpected controversy when she announced that booking flights on your phone is "crazy" and should be done on a laptop. At the end of the day, you want to be where the best deals are.
