One thing that we have learned, collectively, as cat owners, since… about 2020, is that cats love Zoom calls. Don't know why. Don't know how they know when these calls are happening, but they do. They always do. And they make it their mission to break into those Zoom calls and cause as much chaos as possible. Seriously, we have seen cats break into work meetings. We have seen cats break shelves during work interviews. Although, to be fair, that guy ended up getting the job partially because of the cat.
Point is that cats love Zoom calls, and today's story is yet another piece of evidence for that. While giving a lecture about iron toxicity, the doctor said: "here's how we treat this", but his cat only heard the word "treat", and all heck broke loose immediately afterward.

Oh, boy, have we been here before… We don't know how our cats so it, but it's like they know. It's like they make an active effort to bother us at the exact worst moments. All day long, we try to get their attention, and they won't give it, but the five minutes that we need uninterrupted, suddenly, our cats are the biggest attention seekers ever.
Sigh, fine. She is a queen. We are sorry to have ever questioned her majesty. She was correct in her demands. You did say the word treat. It is your fault for having confused her, and now you must pay the price. Which is treats. Give them to her. Right meow.
