Hey dog lovers, happy Sunday! We hope you had a pawstively furtastic weekend already and if not, you're about to get a boost of pawsitivity. We have a soft spot in our hearts for shelter doggos. There are so many of them looking to find their furrever homes and get adopted, but some have to wait longer than others. A lot of people overlook senior doggos or older dogs because they think they will be hard to train, but they deserve love just as much as any puppy!
This awwdorable doggo "Chester" spent around 600 days in a rescue shelter. On day 587, he was adopted by a heartwarming hooman who decided to take him into her family, and Chester got the most wholesome send-off you could ever imagine: he got a standing ovation and a limo ride to his new house! Scroll down to watch the video below and prepare to feel all the feel-good emotions!

600 days in an animal shelter, that's almost 2 years! That sounds awful, no doggo should have to live like that. We're very grateful for this heartwarming hooman that is taking Chester into her loving home.
We can't help but tear up a little bit thinking about this good boy being so happy to finally leave the shelter. And to be met with a standing ovation, it's just too cute! This whole story is amazing, and we're so happy for him.
