Internet Trolls Roast New Zealand After Spending 8 Months and $300,000 Trying To Capture A Single Stoat

Hey Animal Comedy-ers, have you ever spent way too much time and money on something? A project perhaps? Well, you don't have to feel bad about it anymore because if you think you did terribly, there is always someone who did worse than you. In this example, the government of New Zealand spent over $300,000 trying to get rid of a single stoat (if you don't know what a stoat is, see here), in a predator-free animal sanctuary that homes two animals that are found nowhere else on Earth.

We understand the effort, but that is a lot of money! You best believe that the internet trolls came out to play on this one, and completely roasted the NZ government in the process.     catl8y30 18h Well it's a case of sacrificing the few for the good of the many kind of situation. That stoat would decimate the population of endangered animals efficiently. It's a good hunter and ravenous. I don't always agree on situations like this but understanding the behavior of a predator like the stoat. I can't disagree with the solution.
