Food fails happen to all of us at some point. At least, I hope they do. I burnt an entire tray of bacon yesterday, and I'm a perfectly good chef who's nearly 30 years old.
I put some bacon in the oven for 14 minutes at 400 degrees, thanks to the fastest Google search results. I was also making some scrambled eggs and pancakes at the same time, and, because I live my life on hard mode apparently, frantically waving a blanket in front of the fire alarm every minute or two. Lately, the fire alarm goes off every single time I cook. I don't know why (yes, I did clean my oven. Like three times. It didn't help). It's making my life super annoying, and my bacon inedible. C'est la vie or whatever.
Anyway, the fire alarm still went off the whole time, even as I waved a blanket in front of it constantly. My eggs were okay, my pancakes were edible, and my bacon was a lost cause. This was a full tray of blackened bacon turned to charcoal. I guess I left it in for too long. That's what I get for not going to the local diner, where the professionals would cook the same brunch, but make it one hundred times more scrumptious.
The people below may also be perfectly good chefs who can't catch a break. Some of them burnt their food pretty badly, while others tried new dishes and did not succeed. Next time I burn something, I'll try and remember to take a photo of it to add to the list of fails! You can check 'em all out below.
Then, read about this dude who's trying to stop their friend from naming another of their children after Pokemon characters.
