Energy is elusive. Some days you have buckets of it, other days you have to dig deep for the willingness to get out of bed. And it depends on a constellation of factors so complex that it will take you your whole life to parse out what exactly is affecting you and when. Or at least that's what I tell myself when I only got 4 hours of sleep and haven't drunk water all day. The human body is complex, who knows what's actually wrong with me?

Our general refusal to change, even when we know what's hurting us, is astounding. Humans are such creatures of habit that we'll stick to a routine until the wheels fall off even if we know we probably shouldn't. I can't help it, I love my midnight cheese and falling asleep to TikTok even though I know it wreaks havoc on my body! But these memes make me feel better about the general state of things.
