It's April 26th which is international Alien day (Or is is intergalactic?). Why April 26th you ask? Because the Xenomorph was found on a little planet named LV-426 and also because the original Alien movie is still the best Sci-fi horror film ever made. It's really funny watching YouTubers react to this cinematic masterpiece, Thinking there is no way some Sci-fi film from the 1970s can possibly be THAT scary, and then seeing them hug their "subscribe" pillows while practically weeping into them as they try to cover their eyes from what's going on on screen.
What makes this movie so good? Well, honestly - it's everything! The script is genius, Ridley Scott is an amazing director, The VFX still hold up, the atmosphere is impeccable and it features one of the best cast ever assembled for a movie - Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, John Hurt, Ian Holm, Harry Dean Stanton, Veronica Cartwright, Yaphet Kotto - Each of them does a stellar job, and let's not forget Bolaji Badejo who was inside the suit and brought the Xenomorph to life. Happy Alien day!
