Hi, cat lovers and feline enthusiasts. Today we are going to be taking a journey with a whole bunch of cat-owning humans, recalling the moments in which they felt pure empathy from their cats. Many folks think that cats are not very loving creatures, they are independent beings who do their own thing and occasionally will offer a pet or a cuddle. And that is true. However, cats develop amazing and beautiful bonds with their humans. 

They might not display their love outwardly every day, but when their humans need support, cats are there to provide loving energy. Cats make everything better if you ask us. But we are not the only ones who think this way! I've often suspected that the older (Onyx) is the younger's (Taz) mother because Onyx often saves one of her treats for Taz and also makes sure Taz is eating her dinner before digging in to her own. (They also act like mother/daughter cats, of whole I've had many. They get along well for the most part, but also sometimes get on each other's nerves.)

Every time, both kittens will go and check on her as soon as they hear her. The boy kitten also seems to stand guard while shes using the litter box. My old girl merely tolerates the kittens i.e. she generally keeps her distance and just wants to be left alone. It's a situation where she's only interested in coexisting despite the kitt

    So I wondered if perhaps it was the sniffles sound that a person makes before they cry, needing to blow your nose? Or maybe some sadness pheromone humans give off when upset that she could sense? Not sure! But she is VERY tuned into my feelings and the only time she cuddles by my face/neck is when I'm sad. Otherwise she is a leg cuddler or little spoon tummy cuddler at bedtime. Another one, I was physically sick two nights in a row and my babies were right there with me. Cats show empathy there's no doubt in my mind. We are fortunate enough to have them in our lives.

Both of my kitties must've heard me cuz they came trotting into my room, jumped up onto my bed, and started head butting me and cuddling with me.
