As often is in the feline world the proverbial slippery slope can build speed in no time and, if it catches you off guard, you will find yourself tumbling down uncontrollably. So instead, it is best to prepare for the worst and expect it, too.

That is, if you have the energy to remove the cat again. Sometimes it is just easier to let things be as they are. Especially when you are fighting against the incoming tide of cat, now that is a force not to be reckoned with. But if you have it in you, you can certainly try removing the cat, but perhaps throw some treats in the opposite direction and hope you manage to close the door in time.
