This DIYer got schooled by a teenager on how to treat employees. That's because this dude really thought that employee worked for the store he was at. Even though the kid literally told this guy, a random stranger, that he wasn't an employee, this guy just wouldn't take no for an answer. And in that case, as u/wing_nut_101 puts it, "be careful what you wish for."
It was clear to the original writer of this story that the DIYer was inexperienced. He didn't actually know which concrete type he was supposed to be using. Like this man literally showed up at the store with no idea what he was going to buy. He just knew he had to buy 30 bags of whatever it ended up being. With that kind of thinking, there's no way this dude's project ever got off the ground. Not everything has to be DIY… sometimes it's best to hire professionals (you know, the ones with decades of experience) in order to save yourself thousands of dollars. If you build something badly enough and have to fix it afterwards, you're just wasting your hard-earned money on a silly project.
