'This one is 2 days old': Woman called in to minimum wage job on Mother’s Day 48 hours after giving birth

Mother's Day was this Sunday, and it allowed all of us to take some time to thank the mamas in our lives. And for good reason. Moms do so much unrecognized labor it would count as a more than full-time job if you were measuring it that way. And all for free. So the least we can do is take some time for her, send her flowers, and give her a break for once. Every mom should get to fully relax on Mother's Day, at the very least.

But that's not what happened in this tale from LinkedIn, where a man was stunned at one mother's seeming commitment to her company. Or perhaps not a commitment, but bleak obedience to a cruel and unusual work environment. What made for pseudo-inspiring LinkedIn fodder became the subject of much derision from the regular folks over on Reddit. Read on for the disheartening details.
