For those who only thought that humans can be burglars... then we have a story for you. Don't worry, it's adorable and a funny one!
A mischievous cat has been roaming around the neighborhood on the streets on Dee Why Sydney, Australia. His objective isn't to find food or a nice place to sleep... Why?
Because he's already got all that. He's a loving house cat! So what's he doing?
Well, he's been sneaking into his neighbors backyards and taking many personal items from yards and clotheslines without asking!
His name? Ootsi. And what does he do with all the goodies he collects? He showers his owner Sophie with all his presents of course!
These would include goggles, children's pajamas, stuffed animals and even a baby guinea pig.. we'll get to that in a moment.
Now, you may think it's a one time thing but, this has become so often that owner Sophie has had to set Ootsi his own Facebook page with things he's taken and his rascal ways, in an attempt to try and return her neighbors their belongings.
Sophie told the Today Show, " He just brings them home with his mouth [...] I've caught him a few times with just leaves and small toys but I've never caught him with big things."
On one occasion, Ootsi really went all out. He surprised his owner with a live baby guinea pig! Sophie explained, "One day I saw him coming up the stairs carrying a baby guinea pig like a baby kitten, and giving it to me. I think he thought it was a kitten."
Now the fact that he was able to go a get that from someone else's house and sneak it all the way home... we just have to say this is one skilled and slick cat.
Sophie hopes to return all the items to their rightful owners. She also knows that Ootsi won't stop his mischief ways, anytime soon...
