As people who love animals, we always have the urge to do what's right by them - to help them as best as we can. That desire ranges across all animals. That's how you end up with super unique animal rescue stories. Like, the teen who rescued a bumblebee, and now, it won't leave her side, or the electric company worker who rescued a sloth that got stuck on a powerline, or the construction workers who rescued a bobcat kitten without hesitating for a moment. Or, and this one might be one of our favorites, the woman who rescued a 'dog' only for it to turn out not to be a dog at all… and then she kept it, because she was awesome.
But what about all those animals in grocery stores? You know, the ones that no one really thinks about. We understand why they're there, we understand why they're kept alive in their tanks, but we'd be lying if we said that - at least as kids - we didn't want to save all of them and give them all forever homes. And well, this man has decided to chase this dream and give a grocery-store lobster a second chance at life.
