The gorgeously-rendered image features the titular Pavi as well as her airbending mentor, Jae, her cat monkey, Jeet, and the city where much of the story is expected to take place, Alora. If you've managed to avoid any leaks pertaining to this show, you might be wondering why they don't look a little bit more modern. Avatar: The Legend of Kora's setting was clearly inspired by the aesthetics and technological advancements of the 1920s. You'd expect the next Avatar to be metalbending around the show's equivalent of modern-day Tokyo.

However, The Seven Havens will take place in a post-apocalyptic world where the Avatar is no longer considered to be a savior to humanity, but its destroyer. Still, it will be her duty to protect the seven strongholds, or Seven Havens, that remain of civilization. Co-creator Bryan Konietzko has revealed that this new show will feel completely different than previous seasons; it will be more otherwordly and fantastical, influenced by science-fiction cartoonist, Mœbius.

The show will span 26 episodes and will be divided into two books, but you'll have to wait until 2027 to join Pavi on her journey.
