But if we're being completely honest, we always root for the seniors to get rescued first because they're usually not people's first choices. But it's always nice to hear about people who adopt senior pets just to give them the best last years of their lives. 

Speaking of which, that's exactly what today's story is about! The highlight is on a woman who works at an animal shelter. One magical day, a poor little senior kitty girl entered the building. Due to obvious reasons, she didn't move a lot nor show much affection. But something about her had the woman hooked, so she took her home. A year after adopting the senior cat, the woman decided to get her a friend… and the rest is pretty much history.
