‘I’m leaving you’: Husband Demands a Paternity Test Out of the Blue, Woman Files for Divorce From Feelings of Betrayal

Disrupting the constitution of your relationship, regardless of the lie, can be a huge shock and end up creating trust issues that could take years to resolve. But what if she or he wasn't lying? What happens when it really is all in your head? 

Outside of trust and betrayal, believing your partners when they tell you the truth is also crucial to a happy and healthy relationship. A partner might go too far with their paranoia, accusing the other person for any number of things. It's important to respect your partner, and that means believing them about your child together. Even though it's trendy right now to do paternity tests, one should have a lot of reasons and potential proof for their child not being theirs before accusing their woman of infidelity.
