How come there are so many ridiculous signs out there? It's not like anyone can just make a sign at home (at least not a professional-looking one). Usually, it's the result of several people working together to make an actual sign—the person who wanted the sign made (usually a manager), the person responsible for writing the content of the sign, then you have several people working on the sign itself, like a graphic designer, a proofreader, and the person who operates the sign-making machine.

After all that, you still have the person who actually puts up the sign (usually some kind of handyman), and finally, the person who wanted the sign made has to look at it and approve it. And you're telling us no one in that long chain of people stopped and said, "Wait a minute, something isn't right here"? No one?! Anyway, here is a compilation of absolutely ridiculous signs.
