  Really, all this proves is that people are not just obsessed with their cats now, but that we have been obsessed with our cats since furrever and always. We would go to the silliest lengths to make sure that our cat is protected. Merely the thought of how many people would have had to get injured to get that armor on the cat has us laughing.

  Like- we don't even care whether this painting is actually based on a real meowment or not. It's still funny. And we choose to believe that it is based on a real moment, because, silly as this may be, we can totally see ourselves doing this for our cat under the right circumstances.
