Those of us that grew up in the early 2000s might recall a scary movie by the name of One Missed Call. It was actually regarded as a pretty terrible remake of a Japanese horror movie, but many of us still remember the creepy sound of the haunted ringtone. But what's scarier-- a ringtone that summons a curse, or a ring tone that suggests that your 5-year partner has been keeping secrets behind your back?
Fully in line with a stereotypical suspense film, the protagonist of today's story heard an unfamiliar ringtone during a relaxing bath. Her first post to Reddit, pleading for advice, was met with several comments questioning her sanity. However, after following her intuition, she succeeded in tracking down the source of the strange ringing, exposing her cheating fiancée. Drama ensues.
