Hello, ladies. The summer has come, and the siren call to spend sounds louder than it did in months previous. Saving money in the winter is easy-- natural, even. Like little hibernating mammals, we store our little acorns deep underground, in our banks and savings accounts. But as the weather becomes warmer and warmer, we must trade our winter soups for heat-fighting açai bowls, which are unfortunately, a bit pricier. And even though we may wear way fewer clothes in the summer, those tiny bits of fabric are not always easy on the wallet. Plans to join in on family vacations, outings with the besties, or a romantic 'bae-cation,' are all great reasons (not excuses!!!) to let loose and have a little Sharpay Evans-style fun this summer. 

So, let these memes either be an inspiration to treat yourself or a reminder to us all to keep a level head as we wander through refreshing air-conditioned malls with summer sales and as we "add to cart" on our favorite second-hand clothing applications. We're not financially irresponsible, we are fiscally flexible. We know when to save, and when to splurge on a sweet treat. Or two.
