Come with me to pick up my brand new two baby turkeys who are probably going to be dead when I pick them up.

I bought these two month old baby turkeys from a farm in Louisiana. I paid to have them overnighted to me. Yesterday morning, I got a notification that it had been delayed in Shreveport, Louisiana. Shreveport is 5 and a half hours from me. So I called, asking if they would let me drive to Shreveport and pick it up at the distribution center there. They said no.

Asked if I could have the package redirected back to the sender. They said no, that you can't redirect a package while it's in transit. Asked if I could change the delivery address to somewhere in Dallas in hopes that it| could get to Dallas faster, I would go pick them up in Dallas. And they said no.

So I had no choice but to wait until today. | Called the post office first thing this morning right when they opened, asking if the package was there. It didn't come on their morning truck. It'll be here tomorrow morning. So I asked if I could go pick them up at the Austin distribution center, they're literally in Austin. They wouldn't let me go get them.

I'm here at the post office again, it's 5:25. They told me that their last truck usually comes around 530. So I'm here. I want to be here right when they call so I can get to the babies and get them water immediately.

They didn't come. And the employees at | this stupid post office told me that if I keep coming here, they're gonna call the police on me. No one can seem to give me an answer as to why.
  • 07
When I look at my tracking information, it says that they left the distribution center at 8:40 this morning and are supposed to be here by 6. And now it's 6. Guess tomorrow morning I will come get them. Don't think that they're gonna be alive.

So crazy turn of events. I'm not sure what| I said in the last update. I'm not sure if I mentioned that I kind of trespassed into the postal service loading dock trying to talk to the person who was loading packages onto the truck to see if it was at the distribution center.

In the midst of the postal service employees coming out and yelling at me and telling me that I had to leave or they were gonna call the police, she [a postal employee], I think, resonated with what I was trying to do to save these turkeys. She slipped me her phone number.

Her and I talked, and she said that she couldn't promise anything but that she was gonna try. Long story short, they found the package and they're letting me come pick it up. So it's literally 10pm right now. I just drove here an hour away from my house.

We are back home. Got them set up here in this crate in the house tonight. They're| both very jittery. Added electrolyte and antioxidant supplements to the water.

It's been such a crazy, emotional day. I'm not even sure how much of the story | actually told. The US Postal Service were complete jerks to me. Did not care at all about these two little babies lives.

edenwidener Eden Widener ⚫ • Okay, I wanna quickly address... A lot of people commenting on my previous video blaming me for what happened to my baby turkeys. Which really breaks my heart, because if you watch that video or if you've watched any of my previous videos, you know how much I care are about my animals. We are very new to farm life, and I knew that shipping poultry was very common. The hatchery that I bought my babies from is a reputable hatchery. They have thousands and thousands of

Obviously I knew that mail gets lost and that mail gets delayed, but I just never thought that alive animal would be treated with the same carelessness that a box of clothes is. The people at that post office were so awful to me. Yes, I did trespass. And yes, them threatening to call the police at that point was justified. But them threatening to call the police because I wouldn't stop coming here and I was disturbing the rest of the customers when all of the other customers in that post office,
