Don't mess with your neighbor's hobbies. For most of us, our after-work hobbies are the things that keep us going week-over-week, so when this entitled mother decided to make her familial problems into the entire neighborhood's problem, one man had to push back.

As a hobbyist woodworker, our original poster, u/EnsnaredAngel, found it hard to find time in the day to get his projects done, but once his daily work was done, his commute completed, and his chores sorted out, he found he could carve out a spare 30-45 minutes every evening around 9 PM. With the city's noise ordinance at 11:30 PM, OP felt he was in the clear to do a few power tool cuts to complete his brother's birthday gift in time–but the entitled mother-of-five next door thought otherwise.
