'This is what one week of love can do': Kitten That Was Found On The Verge Of Death Gets Rescued And Makes An Ameowzing Recovery

A little love can go a long way. That's what writing these stories for ICanHasCheezburger has taught us. Even cats, known for their independence, sometimes need a little help, and there are not many places they can get it from. So, we have to give it to them. If a cat is asking for help, then you know it's gotten to the point where it really, really needs it. And we love, love, love seeing people help cats in need.

Which is exactly what happened in today's story. A little love and care. A woman came across a kitten that was on the verge of death in her backyard and saved her. This kitten most likely would not have survived on her own, but she was at the right place at the right time, and she encountered the kind of person that truly does give us hope for humanity.

More than anything… we have to say that this story gave us a lot of hope, and seeing so many people sharing it gave us even more of it. Yes, it hurts so, so much that one of the kittens didn't make it, but what matters is that the other one did and that it will have a lovely home to spend its life in.
