One of our ultimate favorite things to read about is cats getting adopted. There's just something so wholesome about seeing cats find their furrever homes and live happily ever after. Reading those stories also totally reinforces our belief that the cat distribution system is very much real, and not only that, but also that the system works in meowsterious ways.
While it's true that the classic tagline of the the cat distribution system is: it's not the human who adopts the cat, it's the cat that adopts the human, there are also some exceptions. Sometimes, the system pairs up not humans and cats but cats and other cats. And that's what we have for you here today. A cat adopting a kitten - two cats who were clearly designated for each other and meant to be together furrever.
Clearly, in this case, the cat distribution system worked a little differently. You have been chosen human, yes, that's true, but only in a roundabout manner. The true choice here was between the two kitties. They have been designated for one another, and you are simply the mediator.
But the beautiful thing is that… even though the system didn't specifically choose you, it's meowgic will still work on you. You will be the happiest human servant to these two cats no matter what, and they will bring you the joy and chaos (which is also joyous) that you need in your life.
