Being a waiter or waitress is not a simple task. Sure, we're roped into the lifestyle by the flexible hours, the built-in friendships, and the mountain of tips, but a lot of the glitz and glamor starts to fade away. After wearing the same non-slip shoes for years on end and after juggling the drama of all of your coworkers dating, breaking up, and getting frisky with the restaurant manager, server life can get a little taxing. Alas, servers have a beacon of hope at the end of their closing shift! A server's life is a rite of passage. To learn how to be a good customer, we must first walk in the shoes of the server.
