Butter chicken no spices, coming right up! I'm currently working as a server in a restaurant, and despite my best efforts, there are some customers who simply refuse to be polite.

We had a customer who was incredibly , typical karen type, asking for all sorts of modifications to their order. They specifically requested butter chicken with absolutely no spices. Now, as a server, I understand that everyone has different tastes and preferences. However, this customer's was and condescending for no reason.

So, I relayed the customer's request to the chef, making sure to emphasize the lack of spices. I could feel a small twinge of satisfaction as I pictured the disappointment on the customer's face when they received their bland dish. After all, they had complained about not having any spice. Well, if they wanted flavorless, they were going to get flavorless.

Later, when I brought out the dish, karen attempted to eat it with no seasoning, you could tell she was struggling with every bite without making any comments. dblockmental Oof. I thought you were the lovely waiter from the restaurant I went to last week for a second! I ordered Butter Chicken but asked very politely for "all the flavour, just not the heat" I love spices but I genuinely think I am intolerant to capsaicin. Sad times.

pla... I love this. One of my favourite memories on the polar side. of this was going on a double date with my then partner, my best friend and his very new girlfriend who was clearly on a mission.

She was, for some unknown reason, determined to try to impress - ordered the curry labelled 'hottest' on the menu. Told the waiter with a knowing look that they didn't need to hold back. Ringlets on a Croydon facelift. Thank god they weren't staying at ours! She forced every bite down, cannot fault her for that.

bigthemat Reminds me of my mom who is such a wimp to apices and flavor. I forgot what the dish was, but she said something like "wow what's in this, it's kind of spicy?" To which I replied, "umm, salt and pepper?"

Machosod I'm pretty sure she meant zero spice level. Not zero spices... it's what she said and was what she gets. so she gets My wife doesn't handle spicy food very well so when we order butter chicken it is also ordered "zero spice level". Because we have found that asking for mild usually turns out too spicy. for her.
