While some of us feline fanatics are turning our internal power source down to the minimum requirement during the horrid heat, others of us are simply losing control of our mental faculties as we try to figure out what to do at home while fending off boredom from being stuck indoors due to it being too hot to do anything outside. It is the painful irony of waiting all winter and spring long for the rains to clear, only to be driven back indoors thanks to the sweltering summer.

    Tell us that this not the ultimate 'bored at home so i'll do anything possible to entertain myself' kind of behavior. Such typical indoor cat nonsense when they have too much energy, which in this heat just feels like too much effort to even think about. Minds are melting out here, ain't nobody got time for soot covered cats running around the house.

    And in opposition to the first post's hyperactivity, this example of feline zoomies is much more acceptable in this heat just due to the sheer madness of it all. It is somewhat reminiscent of that episode of Big Band Theory where Sheldon starts going insane from an earworm, just in cat form and with the hyperactivity of a cat.
