Being a mother is really hard. That is something that we all understand as human beings, whether we've had a baby or not. But what not all of us understand is that this is true for everyone - not just humans. The realities of parenthood hit every species, cats included. Being a cat momma is hard work. Cats have to teach their babies how to drink water, they have to teach their kittens how to walk, how to drop things off shelves and how to squeeze every ounce of servitude out of their owners.
It's hard work to be a cat mom, so getting some help doing it can't be a bad thing. Maybe that's why the two cat mommas in this story are co-parenting so well together. They are sharing the load. We can respect that. More species should probably use this as an example.
Hey, all moms need help with their babies sometimes, and there should not be any shame about it. It's a good thing that hey have one another, really, because there is only so much we can do to to help them with their itty bitty babies. It's good to have an extra babysitter on hand sometimes.
Especially when that babysitter is oh so cute. Okay. Fine. We're in love with this strange little family. They look both completely exhausted and so, so happy to have one another, and we are happy for them and hope that they will get to be together for a long, long time.
