People who tend to procrastinate know how hard it is to complete even the smallest of tasks. That is why many procrastinators will testify that they find different methods to get themselves to complete their tasks. One of the most popular methods that people follow is the 2-minute rule – If the task is going to take you less than two minutes to do, don't let yourself ignore it or add it to your to-do list, do it immediately. 

That is what the neighbor in this Reddit story should have done, because the alternative caused him a lot more problems and a lot more work. For years, OP's (original poster) neighbor has been trimming his trees but never once cleaned up the mess he was making on OP's side, even though it would not have taken him more than two minutes to do so. That is until OP gets tired of his neighbor's inability to take responsibility for his mess, and decides to give him a taste of his own medicine.
