Buying or selling a house is a pretty stressful experience, there's a lot on the line and a whole lot of things need to line up for everything to fall into place. Plus, there's plenty of opportunities for someone to screw you over from the realtor to the seller/buyer themselves, so it's pretty easy to be on edge and understandable, at least, to want to control every aspect of the situation.

Still, as with anything in life and especially in stressful situations and negotiations, approaching things with a clear and level head, intending to be as good and kind as possible while also guarding your own interests is the best way to go about things. It doesn't make any sense to go around being disingenuous or contemptible towards the other parties involved for no reason. That's just going to make things worse for you too in the long run…

When this demanding buyer insisted that the home be wiped clean and spotless, down to there not being a single blade of grass out of place, this seller decided to maliciously comply with their demand. They were going to leave some valuable equipment and tools for the buyer to have, rather than worry about selling them themselves or moving them, so instead they gave them away to the next door neighbor, who was very happy to have them.
