'I'm not sleeping in that bed': Girlfriend Calls Kindhearted Dog Dad 'Gross' For Cuddling His Canine in Bed, the Internet Responds Wholesomely in Snuggly Support

Hello, fellow hoomans and dog owners! There are many different methods of training your doggo - some people prefer to crate-train their pups and give them their own space, and others prefer to let their furry friends sleep in the bed with them. Whatever you choose, as long as your dog feels safe, happy, and protected, you're doing a great job. We, personally, love to have our dogs sleep in our beds. It just feels so comfy, and there is nothing cuter than waking up in the morning and you see your sleepy pup not wanting to get up.

One kindhearted dog dad was recently called "gross" by his girlfriend for cuddling with his comforting canine in bed, and he started to question if she was right or not. He turned to the internet, and he received the most wholesome responses from fellow men who sleep with their dogs in the bed. The overwhelming response was "Dump her, not the dog". We have to agree!     Granted my dog is my childhood dog, I'm 19. If I get another one I will probably train it to sleep in a crate. My ex told me I was gross for sleeping with my dog but I have since I was a kid and she was my safe place due to a traumatic childhood and was 10 years to late to train her to sleep somewhere else.

    We crate-trained our dog for the first year of her life - to teach her to respect our things and also to give her a space where she felt safe. She knew she could always go back there if she felt overwhelmed. But after that, she started sleeping in our bed, and we've never looked back.

    We would give our dogs anything they wanted, truly. We can't spend money on ourselves (the last time we bought clothes was around 3 years ago), but we'll happily drop $1000 on stuff for our doggos. Funny how that works, isn't it?

    We tried crate training him, but he would cry and howl all night so on the 3rd night we opened the door and he ran straight for our bed. He's slept against me every night since and he's there to greet me as soon as I wake up. I wouldn't have it any other way
