There are so many pups all over the world who are in need of a furever home. Some pups immediately find their loving owners on first try, some owners may not be ready for the commitment, and some pups might have to wait longer to find the perfect match. This adorable pup, now named Chubbs, a pit bull, was left outside for years in the blistering heat by his former owners. Coincidentally, the woman in this story had been trying to convince the owner to let her take Chubbs and care for him in a way that was compassionate, safe, and loving. Pit bulls get a bad rep, but they are capable of sweet love just the same. You just have to foster an environment that prioritize gentleness.
Three years! This woman was not giving up on poor Chubbs, and when she finally received the OK to take the pup and run away with him, she saddled up for a 12 hour drive to get him. In the lovely video she shared with the world, the woman mentions how he finally got to experience cool air on his face in the car; how he finally got to give all the kisses he wanted to someone who would let him kiss them forever. Chubbs' story is not only heartwarming, but a real tearjerker. Stories like these give us hope that pups all over the world will get the life they deserve—one kind soul at a time.
