Ten years ago it was 2014. Celebrities were taking group selfies at the Oscars, Ed Sheeran was on every station on the radio, Kim Kardashian was breaking the Internet, and Doge meme was in full swing. Life was simple– you could buy a Chipotle burrito for $7 for goodness sake! What a time to be alive… So what in blazes happened?

So much has changed in the last decade that it's hard to believe our current realities even though we've watched them unfold. But there are a few things that no living person in 2014 would believe would transpire by the year 2024 (we hardly believe it and we're here!). So join me on a time traveling journey where modern folks contemplate rocking the world of their past selves with a few simple realities of our time. Perhaps there was a time that you could get a 5-layer beefy burrito from Taco Bell for $.89, but with prices soaring to $5/per, it's tough to imagine.
