You were totally missing out if you weren't watching The Disney Channel in the mid-2000s. Over the past 20 years, viewership on the Disney Channel has dropped severely because kids would much rather scroll through TikTok than watch Dog With a Blog. When I was a kid, you could not escape the cultural impact of The Disney Channel even if you tried. I was a High School Musical fan above all else, but I respected the girlies who loved Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place. My kid sister would literally watch the same episode of Hannah Montana before school every day for a week, so I got my fair share of the best of both worlds. Even though Disney kids shows might be a little more low-brow than their animated features, they're still one of the most nostalgic parts of Disney for me. If you stan Selena, Miley, Demi, and even The Jonas Brothers, these Disney memes will be a breeze.
