DIL Denies In-Laws Access to Newborn Daughter After Disrepsecting Her Birth Wishes and Crashing the Delivery Room

The birth of a new child is a joyous occasion for the family. Having said that, even if you disagree with what the parents are asking for, you still need to respect their boundaries in order to enable both of them to seamlessly transition into parenthood.

The story below is an account of a frustrated daughter-in-law. The original poster (OP) had recently become a mom to an adorable baby girl. Things went quite well for the duration of the pregnancy. The idea of a newborn child joining the family thrilled everyone. However, after OP went into labor, things turned south.  OP and her husband wanted to adhere to a very specific and meticulous birth plan that called for just the two of them to be present in the delivery room. However, following several hours of labor and right as she was about to push the baby out, her in-laws stormed into the delivery room and wouldn't leave until security physically removed them.
