Grandparents roasted by grandkid after playing favoritism, upset parents won't punish her behavior: 'My parents looked at me expectantly, but I didn’t do anything'

We've all heard stories of how Boomers can be. When they think they're right, there is no convincing them otherwise, even if they're entirely in the wrong. All this family drama started way back when their own kids were born. Their daughter says her parents have always played favorites. It's a well-known fact. Because she's clearly not a favorite compared to her siblings, her own daughter (the Boomer's grandchild) bears the brunt of their entitled behavior, too. The other grandkids get showered with gifts while their poor granddaughter gets left in the dust. Because of this, her parents chose not to take her around her grandparents very much. Talk about awkward. Well, on this one particular visit, the grandparents were laying on the favoritism hard. There was no denying that their behavior was unreasonable. So, their granddaughter told them how it was and roasted them with a witty comeback. Completely taken aback and offended, the grandparents demanded their daughter punish her for her behavior. Instead, she stood up for her daughter. Mom FTW.
