Woman 'Invited' to Wedding, Only to Find Out That She Is Expected to Spend the Whole Time Babysitting for Free
For adults, weddings are a blast. It's a day to witness and celebrate the beautiful union of two individuals who are promising to love and commit to each other. You get to dress to the nines, eat some delicious food, get your drink on, and dance the night away. For children, though, weddings are a bit of a drag. They seem to go on and on, there's lots of cooties, you have to wear some itchy clothes that mom picked out, and a lot of your parents' friends and distant family members want to hug you or hold you while asking if you remember them (no, I didn't even know I had an Great Aunt Margaret).
The best case scenario for kids at a wedding is to have a designated child-caring team. Ideally, that team is not made up of unwilling wedding guests. who paid over a hundred dollars to RSVP, forced to watch over children without payment as some sort of favor. Ideally, but mistakes happen. Some wedding requests are a little quirky and out-there, but this one will have your mouth hanging open at the sheer entitlement of some people.
