When you get into a serious relationship with someone, it's often just as important to consider their family as it is the individual you have chosen to settle down with. More often than not, they will provide crucial clues to their upbringing and whether there is anything to be worried about. Unfortunately, many people go as far as getting married without realizing the true ramifications of what their in-laws are like and it causes problems further down the line.

This is something that one wife came to terms with on social media after she revealed to her husband why she doesn't trust his mom and posted it on TikTok. In front of him, she called up her mother-in-law and claimed that he had told her he was visiting her and she wanted to speak to him. His mom immediately covered for him, and viewers were horrified by her behavior and his reaction. This doesn't look like the basis for a good relationship.
