Woman Discovers After Two Decades of Marriage That She and Her Husband Are Related, Leading to Marriage Crisis

Your family should always come first in your priorities. But after twenty years, what would you do if you discovered that you and your partner were related?

The narrative that follows is the story of a frustrated wife. The original poster (OP) and her spouse have been together for nearly two decades.  For Christmas of last year, OP bought herself and her husband DNA tests and an ancestry account. So after doing an extensive amount of research, she found out that she and her husband are somewhat distant relatives.  She had high hopes that her husband would laugh off the terrible circumstance, but instead, he freaked out.
