When I was a child, I never quite understood those kids (almost always girls) who longed for a sister. Sure, my little sister could be fun, but she was also the reason I had to share everything and that there was somebody there to annoy me when I got home from school. In adulthood, I am now grateful that I had a sibling to learn the ropes of life with, but it is fair to say that the sister experience is not always plain sailing. It can be a lot.
