When you spend much of your time looking at and sharing memes, you have to come to accept that there are no guarantees in the world of internet humor. Sometimes you will find an embarrassment of riches, and sometimes you go through dry patches. Sometimes, it seems like everybody can't get enough of one meme, or one topic to meme about, and other times there is a true variety on show. Things change.

The best we can do in this situation is allow everything to wash over us and just try and hold on to the good bits. Not every meme is going to be a highlight, but this only makes the ones that are all the more precious. Appreciating memes through good and bad is a matter of having the right perspective. With countless lists like this at your disposal, that should not be a task that proves to be too difficult.
